"I've had State Farm insurance through Katie's office for over 15 years. I filed a claim for hail damage on my car years ago, and my wife filed a claim for her car which was totaled by a hit and run driver just recently. On both occasions, this office was quick to make things right for us. We were pleased with the results both financially and service wise, and felt that they were on our side, which was reassuring. I've had my premiums charged to my Mastercard since I began coverage with State Farm. Just recently however, after my Credit Union issued a renewed card with updated expiration date, I got notice that State Farm couldn't process my monthly premium. I called the office to give them the new info and it went downhill from there. The payment still didn't go through. Their system indicated there was an issue with my card. My Credit Union said, no, the issue was with State Farm. Back and forth I went over a couple of days. Meanwhile, I made several purchases at different retailers with my new card. These all were accepted at point-of-sale, and showed up as paid in my account. Finally we switched to have the premiums taken from my savings account. I can live with this, but it's not at all my preference. Overall, I'm happy with my experience at Katie's, and have no plans to go elsewhere, but this latest episode has left a bad taste in my mouth. "In our household, I was the one who had taken over researching insurance quotes whenever we had larger than expected premium increases. Tasked my husband with this research and he found an exceptional company to work with, learned much about the process, and what would fit our needs and budget. "Just switched mom from her current provider, the savings was 1200.00 a year. Love Katie, Jason, and Jake. Always a pleasure talking with them and they give you plenty of answers before you even ask the questions. Jason was wonderful with mom and she like he took his time with her. Always a pleasure.
